There are a number of ways to make best use of SoodoNims©.

Website Registration

This an ideal place to make use of Alias Addresses, especially for less well known, or reputable sites. Typically when registering, you will receive an email confirmation, and a clickable link to confirm. You will receive emails just as you would if your regular address was used. Of course you can disable the Alias if the website becomes a spam source, or if you discover multiple domains begin to send to this Alias. (for this reason, it is good practice to use a dedicated Alias for each new web site registration)

One Time Registrations

If you know you only want a limited number of emails from a site, you can preset that limit when you register. If you need to give an address, in order to receive something once, and no longer have need, the Alias works perfectly. We recommend you use the format:

sarahk.*******.2@lifebyfood.com

Where the 2 represents the limit of 2 emails. You can of course set that to any other number. We recommend it be at least 2, because sometimes the first email received from a website is just a confirmation, and the "freebie" comes in the 2nd email.

Over the Phone

Someone you do business with (a retail store, the newspaper delivery person, the courier etc, may ask you for an email address for occasional communications. Give out an Alias Address rather than your own.
